Archive and delete
Archiving hides an item and keeps it. Deleting removes it for good.
Archive an item
Section titled “Archive an item”Choose Archive from the item’s More menu. The item is kept in full, but it no longer appears in the library, on the Map, in search or in chat.
To see archived items, choose the Archived tab. To bring one back, choose Unarchive.
An archived item’s info shows when it was archived and why.
Items Gleanary archives
Section titled “Items Gleanary archives”- Unopened automatic saves: sources that Gleanary saved on its own are archived after 30 days if you never opened, filed or linked them.
- Dead links: the Link checker automation proposes archiving a source whose link has failed at least three times over at least a week. You can set it to archive these automatically, with undo. It won’t archive an item you already decided to keep.
Delete an item
Section titled “Delete an item”Choose Delete…, then Delete permanently.
Deleting can’t be undone. There is no trash. If you might want an item later, archive it instead.
